Who we are
World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement led by Christian women who welcome you to join in prayer and action for peace and justice.
In March every year, women in over 170 countries join together in a common Day of Prayer. Throughout the year, we come closer in fellowship, understanding and action.
Praying through the year: November
Father, we pray for countries and communities facing the horrors of war. There seems to be no end to hostilities in our world and we feel powerless to help. We pray for leaders and those who can bring about change, may they have the will to work for peace and may we never give up praying for them. Amen
